BBZ training offers different routes to continue higher education in Germany. The applicable route depends on the credential obtained, the programme chosen, language proficiency and the particular requirements of each institution.
German Technical Baccalaureate
Since 2006, BBZ students have had the opportunity to obtain, in addition to their professional training, the German Technical Baccalaureate, also known as Fachhochschulreife, Fachabitur or FHR.
This diploma allows students to apply for bachelor programmes at German universities of applied sciences. It may also open study opportunities in Switzerland, according to the conditions of each institution.

Requirements to obtain the FHR
- Pass the final AHK professional training examination.
- Pass the written examinations in German, English and mathematics at the end of the second year.
- Achieve the required performance in computer science and in Economics and Social Sciences (WiSo).
Access with the professional technical degree
The Peruvian professional technical degree may allow direct application to related programmes at German institutions, subject to the assessment and admission conditions of each university.

- Industrial engineering.
- Fields related to the programme studied at the BBZ.

In addition to the academic qualification, applicants must prove the level of German required by the university. The certifications considered include the DSD II, in accordance with the conditions published by the institution.
Dual university in Germany
The dual university combines higher education with professional experience in a company. Students pursue academic training while taking part in business activities related to their field.
