Letter from the Director
Dear young people,
The world is full of opportunities for those who know how to turn knowledge into action. At the BBZ we want to help you turn your talent, your interests and your ideas into a professional path with international reach.
Studying here means learning inside a company, taking part in real projects, getting to know different areas of work and discovering early on where you can contribute your potential. The dual model brings together theoretical training and practical business experience, with the support of a mentor and a rotation plan across different areas of the organisation.
Over two years you can train in Business Administration, International Business Management or Industrial Production Management. You will develop business, digital and intercultural skills; you will strengthen your communication in German, English and Spanish; and you will learn to use tools such as SAP, Microsoft 365 and enterprise planning systems.
On completing your training you may obtain the Peruvian professional technical degree awarded in the name of the Nation and the German professional degree awarded by the Association of German Chambers of Commerce and Industry (DIHK), after meeting the corresponding requirements.
You may also complement your profile with the German Technical Baccalaureate and certifications such as SAP S/4HANA, Microsoft Office Specialist and Cambridge Linguaskill Business, according to the conditions set for each certification.
You will enter the professional world with applied knowledge, business experience, intercultural skills and a clear vision of what you want to build.
On completing the BBZ you may enter the labour market early or apply for higher education in Germany. Depending on the degree obtained and the requirements of each institution, you may continue your training at universities, universities of applied sciences or dual universities.
Administration, economics, industrial engineering, logistics, innovation, digitalisation, marketing, human resources and production management are some of the fields you can move towards.
Our graduates have built careers in international companies, have continued their studies in Germany and other countries, and have also founded their own businesses. Every story began with a decision: to prepare to take an active part in a global world.
At the BBZ you will find training that challenges you, supports you and connects you. We want you to discover what you are capable of, to learn to make decisions with confidence and to move towards the future with experience, autonomy and an international outlook.
The future you imagine begins the moment you decide to build it.
Yours sincerely,
Agaton Nachtigall

Alexander von Humboldt Private Institute of Higher Education
The Alexander von Humboldt Private Institute of Higher Education – BBZ offers a different way to begin professional life: studying a technical career and gaining business experience as part of one and the same training.
Its German dual model connects the knowledge taught at the Institute with its application in real organisations. This combination makes it possible to understand how a company works, to take part in its processes and to develop skills tied to the needs of the labour market.
Learning takes place between the Institute and the company. In the workplace, students have dedicated mentors and rotation plans that allow them to get to know different areas and processes of the organisation.
The training integrates business, digital and intercultural skills, together with the development of German, English and Spanish.
After passing the assessments and meeting the corresponding conditions, graduates may obtain the Peruvian professional technical degree awarded in the name of the Nation and the German professional degree awarded by the DIHK.
The professional technical degree and the German Technical Baccalaureate open different routes to continue higher education in Germany, depending on the programme chosen and the academic, language and documentary requirements of each institution.
The BBZ coordinates the academic component and supports the professional and personal development of its students throughout the six academic terms.
The Institute has more than four decades of experience training young people through the dual system and in bringing together education, business and Peruvian-German cooperation.
The dual system combines theoretical training at the BBZ with practical learning in a training company.
Three parties make it work:
Responsible for academic training, programme coordination and student support.
Where students apply their knowledge and get to know different business processes.
Takes part in developing the model and in the assessments linked to the German professional certification.

At the companies, students have a dedicated mentor and a rotation plan. This allows them to get to know areas such as administration, accounting, purchasing, sales, marketing, production, warehousing, human resources, investment and financing.
The general methodology presented by the BBZ comprises approximately 35% theoretical training at the Institute and 65% practical training at the company. The specific distribution varies according to the career and the year of study.
The BBZ offers three professional technical careers:
